If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. Client Sessions and Course Bookings

Data collected may include your first name, last name, marital status, title, date of birth and gender.  Contact Data may include your home address, email address and telephone numbers.  Health Data: The medical & emotional questions are required so that we can provide a Holistic Treatment / therapeutic session for you. These may include doctor’s details and pregnancy status.  Sensitive Data: We do not routinely collect any Sensitive Data about you. Sensitive data refers to data that includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation. We do not collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

Financial Data is not collected.  All payments are collected either by BACS, Worldpay or cheque.  Transaction Data may include details about payments made by yourself for treatments.  Your information will not be shared to any third party companies.  These details and information are stored securely as detailed in our policy.

We use your email address and any information submitted to process bookings and supply information or updates pertaining to those bookings,  provide further information about the products / services we offer, inform you about new blog posts or to assist you in answering any questions or queries you may have submitted.. This includes using your details to subscribe you to our email newsletter but only if this was made clear to you and your express permission was granted when submitting any form to email process. In compliance with GDPR all e-mail sent from our organization will clearly state who the e-mail is from and provide clear information on how to contact the sender. Storage and protection of personal data.

We ensure the security of any personal information we hold by using secure data storage technologies and precise procedures in how we store, access and manage that information.

Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes viruses and malware in order to make your visit as safe as possible.

All financial transactions are processed through a gateway provider (Paypal) and are not stored or processed by us.

In the event of a data breah we will endeavour to inform you within 72 hours.

Email is not recognized as a secure medium of communication. For this reason, we request that you do not send private information to us by email. However, doing so is allowed, but at your own risk. Some of the information you may enter on our website may be transmitted securely via a secure medium known as Secure Sockets Layer, or SSL. Credit Card information and other sensitive information is never transmitted via email. All payments are collected by Paypal, BACS or cash in person at the time of a prebooked consultation/therapeutic session.

Record Keeping of Clients

​Your consultation forms and session summaries are kept on file on a password protected computer and paper files are kept in a locked filing cabinet at my home address.

Your files are not viewed or accessible by anyone other than Charlotte Kanyi, unless consent is given by yourself to share with other therapists.

You can ask to view your client files at any given time. By law we have to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for six years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.

Medical Malpractice requests that we keep consultation files on record for seven years once you have received your last treatment with Charlotte Kanyi. After this date they will be shredded.

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or medical requirements
